Relaxation Station
Enjoyed working at the 3rd annual Street Food Artistry 2013 today, on 35th Street, in the city of Chicago. It was a colorful crowd of people who were art and food lovers. They had a nice selection of food from the different food trucks that participated. It was also a nice list of performers, dancers, singers and musicians.

The stage and food trucks were outside and more vendors were inside of the beautiful gallery. This is where the “Relaxation Station was located where I worked with The Go Stop giving complementary massages. We were right across from a beautiful family that had delicious garment popcorn called Herby Pop. I got to meet all type of people. One young man who was a high schooler really appreciated his massage. He told me he was a tap dancer who performed for the event. I got to meet the one and only Luvvie, blogger, red pump wearer and the lady who has motivated bloggers like myself to blog daily this month for the #31WriteNow challenge. I was so excited to meet her after reading her blog for a few years now. I was so happy she enjoyed her massage. Another food vendor stopped by our station to see if anyone had Tynenol for her headache, we told her all she needed was a massage. I was happy to work the tight muscles in her shoulders that ended up relieving her headache. She said she felt much better – no meds needed! My young sister Dacia Hobson, another performer got to sit in my chair for a little relaxation. She is an up and coming singer that has a voice you won’t forget. Her massage was needed after performing today. The “Relaxation Station” did what we came to do. Many left the area feeling much more relaxed and happy to get that massage.

All in all it was a fun day and a highlight to this summer.
