Getting fit in 2012

So it is a new calendar year and everyone is setting goals and resolutions. I’ve been working on my goals and resolutions for months. With completing school for Massage Therapy I am now looking at more training, gaining experience and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some other Massage Therapists who have shared great advice and business tips with me. I am continuing to learn the benefits of networking online and offline. So you will continue to see me on Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter (my favorite hang outs), I also plan to attend some Meet-up groups this year. My latest Twitter handle I have to stay in contact with clients is @massagesbymarge. I am ready with my massage table and chair. I am making myself available as a mobile wellness spa with my massage therapy and my ZYTO Compass scan. Many people are loving their scan reports to help them get on their healthy programs for the new year.

I will be starting my 90 day colon cleanse soon, as I gather all the products needed. One of my goals is to get fit and drop the extra pounds. I have joined Curves in Blue Island, Illinois and I love the atmosphere. It is so warm and cozy and everyone is very friendly. The Tuesday evening Zumba classes are LIVE with E’a my Zumba instructor. Checkout her youtube channel and you will see what I mean. Zumba is so much fun and it’s sexy. You forget you are working out and you just get into the music and have a good time.

I am sitting here on my computer reading all the holiday greetings and season celebrations, but my family is just enjoying our time together. I haven’t observed the traditions of Christmas in over 20 years. God opened my eyes to knowledge and understanding in His Word when I was young and I have been growing in His Word since then. My family and I only observe God’s Holy days. (Leviticus 23)

Today, since we are reaching the end of a calendar year I want to take time to THANK ALL MY CLIENTS, SUPPORTERS, CUSTOMERS and FOLLOWERS. I want you to know I appreciate you. I am glad for your support. Thank you for following me on all my social networks and blog. I hope you continue to support me.

I have big plans for the upcoming year. I want to improve www.motherknowsbest.net to be an online natural health magazine. I am working on my business to offer a mobile wellness spa. This past week I wrote an article for The Chicago Holistic Examiner sharing natural ways people can deal with Sickle Cell disease. This blood disorder is present in one in every 500 African-American births. I shared some testimonies in my article. When trying to live healthy we have to consider the foods we eat, drinking enough water, taking the supplements to help us get the proper vitamins and minerals and a living in a more toxic-free environment. I listed suggested supplements that help Sickle Cell in the article. If you know someone personally dealing with Sickle Cell please share this article, I think it will be helpful and inspiring too. Our booth at The African Festival of the Arts

This is a busy time of year. It is a transition into the fall season. The Labor Day weekend has come and gone, the children are settling back in school. Some parents have sent their children off to college and we are staying prayerful for all the young college men and women who have started a new journey.

People tend use this time to start a healthy program for the whole family. It is a good time to work on building the immune system to fight the flu and colds. Some of us have started a new workout plan to shed those extra pounds and began a good detox program. All these steps are good to stay healthy and fight illness.

A group of Nature Sunshine health practitioners joined together to offer the ZYTO Compass scan this year at The African Festival of the Arts in Chicago. The event turned out well. I was excited to participate on Sunday and Monday of the Labor Day weekend event with my new Compass scanner. I am so happy to offer this assessment. It is helping people learn so much about their selves. My family and I have learned some things too. I have been posting various interesting health articles I come across on my facebook fan page to share wth my followers because it is a quick way to repost important updates.
