Just this week people have contacted me about gall bladder issues. E. Lynn Harris Died of Heart Disease at the Age of 54, Coroner Says

The author E. Lynn Harris, died of heart disease complicated by a hardening of the arteries and high blood pressure, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office told The Associated Press. Mr. Harris, the author of several best-selling novels about black men with conflicted sexual identities, died on July 23 in Los Angeles while on a tour to promote his latest book, “Basketball Jones” (Doubleday). At that time Laura Gilmore, a publicist for Mr. Harris, said that he fell ill on a train to Los Angeles but that he had seen a doctor and felt fine. Mr. Harris, who lived in Atlanta, was later found after having collapsed in his hotel room and could not be revived.

Let this be a wake up call for all Black men to go to doctor, and take better care of themselves, eat right, exercise and get plenty of sleep.

Black America’s first super model, Naomi Sims has died at age 61, from cancer.
Both too young but a wake up call for everyone the live healthier lifestyles.

As a 47-year-old woman of color I know it is important to try to maintain healthy habits. I gave birth to 4 children, my youngest son was born when I was 40, so I am working hard to drop extra weight due to the statistics of African American Women with diabetes and obesity and how this affects our health. This past week’s HOT TOPICS:
One client contacted me because her 81 year old grandmother was about to have
gallbladder surgery and she wondered if she could do something to avoid this. This
is what I shared with her -
Natural alternative to Gallbladder removal:
If she had gall bladder problems before ? having the gall bladder removed will not
stop the problem. Her body will make another little pouch to collect stones in and in
about 2 years it will probably start all over. The Hi Lipase which provides enzymes will help her body deal with fats. Probably using Fat
Grabbers before meals would also be good. One herbalist passed stones using only Fat
Grabbers and Hi Lipase.
Gall is produced in the liver and stored in the gall bladder. The gall bladder functions to concentrate the gall (by removing some of the water) and to store it until it is time to use it. The gall is secreted into the intestinal after food enters (especially fats) and does two things: 1) it emulsifies the fats making it easier for them to be absorbed, and 2) it multiplies the action of pancreatic juice by three-fold.

Once the gall bladder is removed, the liver continues to secrete bile which continues to flow into the intestinal tract. The liver can even develop a storage ability thus making up somewhat for the gall bladder being absent. Not having a gall bladder does not have a direct adverse affect on the liver itself.
Bowel Build with every meal is helpful.
Maybe you can start your grandmother with the above products and get her to avoid too many fatty foods. Later it would be good to do a good colon cleanse.
